Consultant's Meeting on
R-matrix Codes for Charged-particle Reactions in the Resolved-Resonance Region
Motivation
The purpose of the meeting is to gather R-matrix code developers from the various communities of practise astrophysics, nuclear reactions, neutron data evaluation, etc) to discuss their R-matrix codes capabilities, the physics and fitting procedures implemented, and how they can be used in evaluations of cross-section data for charged-particle-induced reactions in the Resolved-Resonance-Region (RRR).Ultimately, the IAEA aims to create a working group for evaluations of charged-particle-induced reaction cross-sections that are relevant for a range of applications such as Ion Beam Analysis, Nuclear waste Management, and Nuclear Astrophysics. The evaluated data will be disseminated in ENDF-6 format through the ENDF library and also through the IAEA IBANDL
