The LINUX version of PREPRO2018
8 comes with executable codes, in compressed form,
for 32 and 64 bit LINUX systems; choose the one that is appropriate for your system,
either LINUX32 or LINUX64.

1) Copy either LINUX32.tar.gz or LINUX64.tar.gz to your hard drive. First uncompress
and untar it. After installation you should have a directory named PREPRO18 that
contains 43; you can then delete LINUX32.
   tar.gz or LINUX64.tar.gz.

2) To VERIFY proper installation, it is recommended that after installation you
execute VERIFY.BAT. This is a batch file that will run the codes in sequence.

3) The final two codes will display the calculated cross sections (EVALPLOT),
and compare the results you calculated to a standard set of results (COMPLOT).
Difference of about 1 % to 2% are acceptable; larger differences indicate an
   installation problem.

If plots are displayed before the batch file (VERIFY.BAT) finished, the entire
system has been verified and is ready to use. If you do not obtain plots, there
was an ERROR during installation; in this case 5) below.

If the codes EVALPLOT and COMPLOT fail to execute then you may need to
recompile them and change the path in the Makefile (LINUX.MAK) to the directory
that contains your X-Windows routines. i.e. /usr/lib/X11. In this case you will need
the FORTRAN source codes that are contained in the SOURCES sub-directory.

4) LINUX systems now vary from one type of computer to another, so that the LINUX
executables included in this package may not run on your computer. In this case you
MUST re-compile the codes; start from SOURECES subn-directory and use the LINUX.mak
   as a makefile.

5) If you have any problems notify the Nuclear Data Section, IAEA, Vienna, Austria.
