What is PREPRO?

The ENDF-6 Pre-processing codes (PREPRO), is a collection of 17 computer codes, which are designed to convert ENDF-6 formatted neutron and/or photon data from the original distributed form to a form in which the data can be used in applications.

These codes also allow you to view the data. The ENDF-6 Pre-Processing Codes run on virtually ANY Computer

Warning
Recent changes in ENDF-6 Format and procedures, as well as the evaluations themselves makes it impossible for versions of the ENDF-6 pre-processing codes earlier than PREPRO 2010 (2010 Version) to accurately process current ENDF/B-VII evaluations.

The present codes can handle all existing ENDF/B-VI evaluations through release 8, which is the last release of ENDF/B-VI. The present codes are also now been tested to insure they handle evaluation in the ENDF/B-VII.0 Library.
